There is always something to do here Phnom Penh…hit a market, find a new coffee shop, ride an elephant or take cruise up the river…
Soooo…5 days ago when ALL of us where healthy, before:
- the mama got food poisoning, knocking her down for 2 days and 5 pounds of “liquid weight” (use your imagination) gone! Throwing up, fever of 103 and doubled over in the bathroom 3 times an hour for 12 hours. NOT fun.
- the big brother caught a cold, which turned into an infection, has been home from school for 3 days straight and is now on zithro, 2 steroids, albuterol & cough syrup
- the babies are cutting teeth and have nasty runs and snotty noses
We got to do this:
For $5 total (me, 3 kids and 3 helpers)…we took an evening cruise on the river…
…another peeing shot!
The bridge is Diamond Bridge, where the catastrophe during the Water Festival happened. The tall tower with the 2 cranes is in our development:
Loves on the boys!!!
I wasn’t too trusting of the boat AND Zach’s ability to listen, so we stuck together while the babes were loved on by Khamary, Leak & Mr. To!
…fishermen bringing in their last catch of the day
…CAMBODIA, Baby!
…the apple of my eye!
…all of the village across the river
…yes, that is duct tape…holding up our night lights for the boat…(for the record, we were home before dark…wouldn’t do that to myself!!!)
Earlier in the day we hit up a “Kid’s Flee Market” where Zachary had a snack and bought 2 new swords…and mama played patty cake with the babes!!!
I love these boys through and through…I’m delighted in my little family and all the love these 3 boys bring me…
