Oh…Papa and Mimi had us set up right, right from the start…they showed up at our condo on our first night there with a WIDE selection of FAVORITE beers (Rogue Dead Guy, Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale and Firestone Double Barrel Ale…we MUST give credit where credit is due)…AND ordered to perfection, CHIPOTLE!!! After a very long flight and night for me and the kids in LA, we got up to get Daddy from the airport in the afternoon and drove ourselves straight to the love of our desert family and friends!!! Zach’s little girlfriend showed up with a Batman Costume(r) (this is Zach’s word of costumes) and a dozen yummy cupcakes…there were a lot of hugs and a few tears of happiness swiped…
But it didn’t stop there…we had tri tip dinners, filets on the grill, after dinner swims, rides on the golf cart, a few swings at Hole 11 and a couple of overnights as well!!!
We LOVED our time with you and even now that we are home, the boys will pick up a phone, a remote, a block and put it to their ear and say, “Neme…Papa…Neme…Papa…Hello…”!
Thank you for the yummy dinners, the fun times, the trains, the stories, the toys, the trips to the Mall and KFC, the cooking and overall, yet another PERFECT visit…(at least we got those colds out of the way in Alaska so we could really play!!!)
