To rid the house of our special guests…flying termites (for the record…the flying termites hatch from within the colony…they are the “royal” – like flying ants. They hatch, swarm, drop their wings, find a mate and make a new colony)…the word is, if you have flying termites coming out of your walls…you are in deep caca! Anyway, to evict those nasty little buggers, we had to move out of our house for a week…we spent a few days at Ha Tien Vegas and then headed back to Phnom Penh and checked into the Phnom Penh Hotel. We thought it would be nice to hang out in a hotel, go swimming and see the town from a different point of view…but a COLD pool, small room with 3 kiddos and everyone getting sick sort of threw that theory out of the water…we did make the best of it.

Suffice to say when all was said and done, we were VERY happy to be back in our bug free home…the boys were happy to have their toys, their space and their rooms! Didn’t realize I had become so attached to our new “home” in such a short period of time!
