Hong Kong…Macau…Day 3

103

This was our view from our condo in Macau…Jim’s boss told us to stay longer in Hong Kong and offered his Macau Penthouse to us for a night…how could we say no to THAT???  One more night away…a trip to Vegas of Asia…PERFECT!

Another terminal and another ferry ride…to which we inadvertently bought 1st Class…so we enjoyed a lounge and first off the boat privileges…other than that, I’ll take 1st Class on a jet over a ferry!

That line you see is the road to China…

Welcome to Macau!

The condo is walking distance from the ferry…we walked right on to the balcony to enjoy our view!  The Sands Macau…

The building Jimmy wanted to bungee jump off…thank goodness that didn’t happen…I don’t think I could have survived!

Everything about Macau was like Vegas…except they didn’t speak much English there (as they did in Hong Kong)…I LOVED going into the Venetian…the 2nd LARGEST building in the world…Jim read a book and sipped a bourdon while I tested my luck and shopped…won about $200 playing slots and came back empty handed in the shopping department…save for the 3 or 4 books I found for my boys!

We had a night out planned with an associate…dinner was at a FABULOUS Portuguese place and I ate crab that was out of this world!…in fact, the entire meal was…the wines, the breads, the meats…Being dressed up did NOT stop me from enjoying some food!

We had to check out ALL of the “Vegas” casinos…but I didn’t know we would be doing this or I would have packed some flip flops in my bag!  My feet got KILLED…but my legs looked good doing it!

These jellies are real and they are at the reception desk in the Wynn…quite amazing!

Cannot say enough about the trip…you’re getting all of the fun details about the city and things to do…which were all wonderful…but the best part was being able to spend time together…just us!  I forgot what that was like…and this time reminded me…remembering our honeymoon…laughing at each other…Jimmy & Me…we’re good together…and we haven’t forgotten!
