Ahh…Christmas Holiday is here…with it, oodles of time…and not a whole lot to do…just rickety old rides, the occasional new release at the movie theatre and feeding the horses!!! We used to really enjoy DreamWorld…but what used to cost our family $6.50 to visit, now costs us $36…because we are “white”…or “foreigner”…so that is off the list…which is really a bummer, because it’s nothing really special, but was nice to get out of the sun and play in a playground…but not for $36 frigging dollars…Anyhow…OK, sorry…one more comment…it’s truly amazing to me that they are allowed to post this…at the gate…stating in big black letters…that this is the new rule…if you are a foreigner, you have to buy a package of at least $9 (I can’t remember the exact amount…sorry, my reporting skills lack)…instead of the previous, 1000 riel to get in if you were an adult, and $2.00 for kids to play in the play ground…Hard to believe in this day and age that this is acceptable. Totally fine. Just another thing to make you realize how lucky we are in some parts of the world!!
So…with that being said…here are a few of our fun times over the past week of holiday fun!!!
Is it just me? …or does anyone else think this guy is nuts for filling the gasoline in the generator with a cigarette in his mouth? NUTS!
Coffee dates, donut fun, Santas on Motorcycles, movies, naps and everything in between!!!
