Field trip #1 of the year…to one of our favorite pizza places (the one where we saw the rat http://www.thekochels.blogspot.com/2011/05/something-you-shouldnt-hear-at.html …and still continue to order from!!)
The cool thing about this place is it is all outdoors, like open air, breezes, swimming pool and the food really is good…honestly, I can’t tell you how many restaurants I have been in where I’ve seen a rat make a dash for it…so I won’t hold this place to too high of standards…as their food REALLY is good!
More importantly, Zachary and his class had a field trip…and I got to go!!! I brought some of the classes favorite books from last year and read to them to keep them busy while little groups got to watch how the pizza was made, pick toppings and play with some dough! I had fun, but mostly loved that my Z was SO happy that I was there with him!!!
Then we got to eat some of the yummy pizza…which ALL of the kids enjoyed!
They enjoyed themselves and when the pizza ran out and there was a little lull in the party…one of the kids (his name would be starting with a Z) wondered WHY all of the people on the ceiling were naked…and, then, of course, so did ALL of the other kids!
Then we all danced to Zach’s current favorite “school” song…Tooty Tat…
Little Boy…I LOVE these days…I CHERISH our times…I am THANKFUL you’re mine…you make this world better…
