Back in May (I think it was May…might have been April), Jim got an invite from a friend in the San Fran area to attend a USC football game…with a SIDELINE pass!!! For months, he was asking me to find a good price; check this date, this airline, this route, etc. etc…I finally just said to him, “GO! Seriously, just GO! You work for an asshole who never appreciates the time you put in, the lack of vacations you take or the extra hours you work every weekend. The boys and I travel all over the place before you, enjoying extra time here and there…you NEED to go!”…and I booked a ticket and a hotel room, and off he went! It was a WHIRLWIND trip…if you’ve ever travelled the international date line, you would TRULY get a grip of his dedication to his team…
- Thursday, noon – Leave Phnom Penh
- Thursday, 4:20 PM – Arrive San Francisco
- Friday, Tourist Day
- Saturday, 3:00 PM – Football Game
- Saturday, 11:00 PM – Head to SFO to fly back to PNH
- Monday, 11:40 AM – Arrive in Phnom Penh
He spent 32 hours in the amazing USA!!…and had the time of his life (even though USC lost!)…Thank you Dee for arranging this. (AND repacking ALL of the boys goodies!!! (the Smucker’s arrived in perfect condition and they are loving EVERY single thing!))
A PERFECT day for my wonderful hubby who makes so many sacrifices for us!!! WE LOVE YOU! (Go Trojans!!!)
