Little Z has been growing up…he no longer needs a nap during the day, but occasionally he’ll pass out and we know he’s not going down for the count until after 10 pm (you can see why I cancelled his naps)…when he has a day with a nap, he wakes up and says, “Tonight, can I have an extra special night?”…who can refuse that? He picks out his outfits, has to wear his “Golden Shoes” (aka, fake Gucci’s) and turns on the charm! He goes to concerts with Leak and out for shooting pool an dinner with me or dad! We ALL enjoy out time with him…truly a little delight (when he wants to be)…
This night, we had a sitter and I had won tickets to a concert…I gave them to Leak and she took Z on a date and then they met up with us at OUR favorite spot, Metro, (we had a Christmas Party to attend first!) for some dessert and hot chocolate…Kids sit AT the bar in Cambodia!!! (Far cry from Portland!)
…then just me and Z had a night out…he said he wanted to shoot pool, eat shark and have some “caream” (whipped cream)…and he said he wanted to do it at his favorite bar…Liquid…off we went, we visited, ate together and took some photos…because he wants HIS photo on the wall that “all the big guys” have their photos…so we posed with all his “girlfriends”…he really has quite the life here!
He truly is my little buddy!!! He’s the BEST when he gets his alone time…(note to self!) After our dinner of shark (he still thinks he ate shark), we headed to the arcade for a little gaming…we were home by 9 pm on a Saturday night…THAT’s MY kind of date!!!
