Old Ladies & Smart Boy!!

Everywhere we go, Zach likes to point out Old Ladies…and he is not very discriminate, old has a large span and he is quite vocal about it!

2 weeks ago, he took down a 40+ lady thinking she was in her 20’s, by calling her an old lady to her face…then he pointed out an old lady in Stater Brothers (in his defense, it’s right by Sun City AND she WAS old!)…

So today…we were walking into Target and a woman younger than me was putting her older kids in her car and Zach yells, “Mom…another Old Lady!”…I’m getting embarrassed…so then I think, that lady was younger than me…so I ask…

“Zachary, is Mama an old lady?” (afraid to hear the answer) and he says, “No, Mama…you’re a girl!”…SO SMART!  hee hee hee…then I thought, well, let’s check this out…Is Grammy old lady or girl?  No, Grammy is a Grammy…Is Mimi old lady or girl?  No, Mimi is a Mimi…So, see…SMART BOY!!!

Hanging around the house…

Getting out and about with 3 is a little bit tough, so we’ve been finding things to do at home!

Snuggling with each other, playing airplane and getting dizzy, blowing bubbles, having fits (lots of those!), not getting dressed and just being a family!

Mama & Her Boys

I never saw how Z looked like me until he was about 6 months old…

Toddler T Toddler Z

Now I was hearing how Trevor looked like me and I didn’t see it…until my Mama found some pictures of me!

Wonder what these boys will do…who they will grow up to be…if they’ll like sports, bring me grandchildren…so many wonderful new adventures in life and I have these wonderful little boys to share it with!

…don’t forget about Brando!

AAACCKKKK…SPIDERS!

Actually, one big muther*&#*)@ spider!…Yesterday I was out running errands with my two babies…got my eyes checked, picked some stuff up at Target and then when to get some items to ship for a charity auction this weekend…Well, my little baby, Brando, was crying in the back seat and this is somewhat typical if he wants to be held…

However…I opened the passenger side door and looked over and saw a BIG FRICKING BLACK spider, the size of a nickel on Brandon’s face…I freaked the eff out!  SERIOUSLY…I couldn’t run fast enough, scream loud enough, open that door fast enough to get that bastard off of his face…

POOR POOR baby…that’s probably why he was crying and he has a scratch under his eye from trying to get it off of his face…just so thankful it didn’t bite him!

ps…those of you who know me well, know I don’t cuss unless I am FREAKING out…well, I was FREAKING out yesterday…if it wasn’t so gross, I could have laughed at myself…oi…I still get the heeby jeebies from it!

The Blame Starts Here…

Well…I actually don’t know where the blame starts…I’ll blame it on Pixar…as soon as I thought I had gotten Z every single Cars car available, they came out with Cars “Toons”…now they have the Cars “Wrestling Mania”…

I have a husband who tells me I spoil my son (OK…admitted, somewhat, sometimes, occasionally, I do)…but it’s with $3 cars and $.99 cars…when Dada was home, he took Z to Target with him and Z came home with a $16 car, “Frightening McQueen”…so begins the need for the Wrestling Mania…so I guess, maybe we can blame it on Dada?

Trying to potty train Z…which is another blog in itself…but for this one, I will let you know that I’ve let Z know that he no longer gets any toys when we go to Target…we are leaving on a big plane and he’ll have to wait to get more toys…the ONLY way he will get a toy is if he POOPS on the toilet…

He’s been missing Dada and Papa had surgery on Monday, so Z was feeling a little down on Tuesday…missing people and wanting to go see them with his wings, so we went to Target alone and I let him get one car.  However, his big blue eyes saw the glory prize in the “WRESTLING MANIA” fighting ring for the wrestling mania trucks he already has…I told him this was  BIG toy and could only be his if he pooped on the toilet…so began his new quest…

He wants to poop on the toilet, but doesn’t…he talks about pooping on the toilet, but doesn’t…he talks about getting that BIG toy if he poops on the toilet, yet doesn’t…So after a long night of feeding twins and not feeling well…I woke up to the following:

Z:  MAMA…I have poop on my PEEPEE!

Mama:  WHAT?  Let me see…

Z:  I POOPED ON THE TOILET…I GET BIG NEW TOY

Mama:  Show me…

Then he turns around a there is poo smeared on his butt like he took his diaper off…and THAT’s what he did…and put tried to smear the poop out of his diaper into his toilet, gave up on that and threw the whole diaper in the toilet and in his mind…He went poop on the toilet…So began my day!  (the picture doesn’t even begin to show the mess I had to clean up!)

DSC07614

So who to blame?  Pixar, Dada, society for making us have to poo on the toilet?…who knows, but I do know, I have a smart little cookie…his brain is DEFINITELY working!  Love you my boy!

Getting wings…

I walked outside today to see Zach “flapping his wings” and running around the firepit…what was he doing, you ask?

He was trying to “fly to the sky so he could go see his daddy…”…he crushes my heart and gives it the biggest smile all at the same time…

T.Maternity

Fare-thee-well!!

I said good bye to one of my favorite dresses today…and funny enough, it was a $15 special, but I loved that dress…I’ve been really cleaning things out and getting ready for our move…in LESS than 12 weeks!  I can hardly believe it!!!  So…in honor of our move, nursing two babies and being a mama…fare-thee-well to…

  • those extra pregnancy pounds
  • unworn shoes (too bad nobody I know has as big of feet as me!)…they are now at AngelView Charity Resale!
  • the rest of my maternity clothes (the closest is now free of them!)
  • NEWBORN size clothes…my babes are already in 3 to 6 months…

So…back to the gym, eating healthy and saying good bye to fat!  Hello to more sleepless nights, lack of patience and more love than I could imagine!

Brotherly Love…

Zach LOVES his brudders…he is a big help and MOST of the time a sweet little helper!  Here are some things he tells me:

  1. Leave my brudders alone, NOW.
  2. You are making him upset.
  3. Ahhhhh…So cute.
  4. Where my brudder?
  5. You stay right here…I be right back.  (in response to hearing a brother crying in another room)
  6. Ope, he got a peepee too…he needs to see the peepee Dr.
  7. He got an owie in his belly button.
  8. Him stinky…change his diaper.

Mickey Mouse Road Rally…

Well…the day started off right!  For about 3 weeks now, the Disney Channel has been advertising their “Mickey Mouse Road Rally” and every time Z sees it, he says, “I want that!  I wanna watch that!  Mickey Mouse Road Rally!”  (spoken VERY quickly!)…so I finally got him to understand last week that once he went to school on Tuesday, he would be able to watch it after dinner…Soooo…Mama figured she would kill, say TEN birds with one stone…it didn’t quite work out that way, but everything DID get done!  After dinner…here was our night…

Bath time in Mama’s big tub…2 grumpy boys who kept fussing for me while I was getting everything ready and a 2 1/2 year old who couldn’t contain himself.  Trevor got a bath and got scared when big brother splashed water on him…finally got him calmed and picked up Brandon and there was poop running down his leg…LITERALLY…which landed on my white down comforter…so back to the waterproof pad while I try and clean the poo…

DSC07575

DSC07584

OK…looks decent, back to Brandon…he gets hosed off in the shower b/c there is so much poop…then into the bath…all the while, Z is sitting in brother’s tub…

DSC07573Not so bad…I can do this…get him out and then Z decides he now needs a shower and won’t stop crying about the poop in the shower and how it stinks…by the way, it doesn’t…so I have to throw a bucket of water to wash the poop down the drain.

DSC07577

DSC07581 Everyone is clean and smelling Gooo-ooood!~

Then…

DSC07583Trevor throws up EVERYTHING he ate for the past 2 hours…So back into the shower for Trevor…I have puke all over me and am soaking from trying to rinse the boys off in the shower…and Z decides to brush his teeth with a gallon of toothpaste and make “hisself handsome” with some lotion…

DSC07586

DSC07588All the while, he is telling me “Leave my brudders alone”…and sitting in the vomit himself!…Finally, I ended up with 2  MORE loads of laundry (this is just the beginning)…

DSC07576 But…it ended alright…the twins were asleep by 8:00 and I got to hang out on the couch with Zachary, eat some popcorn and watch Mickey Mouse Road Rally!  He went straight to bed afterwards and I got ALL of my laundry folded and put away…Another successful day in the Kochel Boy Household!
