Old Friends and a New School...

This has been a busy week for little Zachary!!! Sunday we had a play date with Twin Mommies at Chuck E. Cheese...Monday we were doing our thing and we got an email that our Baby Beach friends from Hawaii were in town...Tuesday Zach started school...and Wednesday...we spent the day at the Riviera swimming with our buddies!
SUNDAY:

Let me tell you...don't go to a Chuck E. Cheese in Southern Cal on a Sunday! Too too too many people with ill-behaved children and no supervision...once we got out of the chaos of the games and ate our pizza, Zach scrammed over to a birthday party and crashed it! Tried to jump in and gather their tokens, danced with Chuck and sang songs on the karaoke...It was fun for him, but exhausting for me!

MONDAY:

Didn't have a lot planned! Got our 3 hour nap in and went swimming...then we got a text that our friends from Hawaii (actually from Newport, but we met them in Hawaii) were in town and they wanted to have dinner with us! Lucky for Z, he had gotten such a long nap and we headed out to dinner...he was SO excited to see his friends. He just LOVES RayRay and Scar(lett)...he and Ray sat at the dinner table for almost two hours, chatting and playing and watching DVD's. I planned ahead and had bathed him before dinner...once dinner was over, he was changed into jammies in the car and fell asleep on the way home! A great day for this little guy!
TUESDAY:
My baby Z started school today...he was very excited with his little lunch pail and ready to go to "his 'cool"...we got there and he was happy to sanitize his hands, ran to his classroom and started playing...Mommy had a lot of stuff to bring in, so I was there for an extra 20 minutes lugging in all of his diapers, lunch, clothes, medicine, etc. He was pushing a shopping cart around and enjoying himself...Mama said good bye and hugged him and he was OK with it...he wasn't thrilled, but it wasn't the worst thing either...he said good bye and off I went...I made it to the parking lot before I let the tears flow...It was tough for me to say good bye to my little buddy. He goes EVERYWHERE with me...I felt like I was missing my arm or something. I had to keep busy to pass the day...went to Starbucks and read the paper and finally ventured home 3 hours later...couldn't have wanted to be home before that. I got some chores done and took a nap and went and picked him up. They said he did fabulous! He even went to bed on his own! Now we have to work on that one here! I love you my sweet little man and miss your little feet following me around, taking your diaper off and jumping on my bed and telling me to "get your naked peaches", you telling me you have to pee or poo - but pointing to going outside instead of the toilet, you getting your own snacks, dumping your cars everytime I pick them up...but I know this is good for you...You are sweet, strong, independent boy and I will always tell you to be that way...just know that it kills me inside to say good bye to you. I love you more than anything in the world!
WEDNESDAY:
Mama didn't sleep well...something to do with these babes in my belly! Ended up heading to the chiropractor early in the morning and for once, Zach was excited to go. The Dr. lets him "help" when I am adjusted and the girls love him there and he gets as many suckers as he can! Then off to the Riviera went...a pool day with RayRay, Scarlett & Zoie! Zach could hardly stand it...he wanted to bring this and that and share this...and do that...he talked and talked about Ray...we got there and he couldn't wait to jump in and play! We were there for 7 hours...swimming, jumping, eating, napping and then all the kiddos took a shower and home we came! It is SO cute how much Zach loves these little kids! He remembers them from Hawaii in January and talks about them all of the time! I hope we are friends for a very long time!
