The last time I stepped foot in Cambodia from the states was my FIRST TIME HERE…back in 2010…when the twins were 3 months old and Zachary was still barely 2…The adjustment to being back here is hard again…hard in different ways…but it’s been an adjustment (which I will post about tomorrow)…but for today, an old friend contacted me out of the blue and asked for some wedding photos…(I don’t have any here with me…how odd is that???)…but what I did find while searching that 500 GB drive, were these happy memories…
This is just a taste of the thousands of photos I have from our FIRST FOUR MONTHS in Cambodia…when my brother came to visit during that time, it felt like I had been here for forever…now that I actually have been…I laugh when I think about how little I knew when he visited…LOVED having them (and all following visitors) more than you know…

…and a little boy who was SO happy to see his daddy…
…and a mama who was SO thankful and happy that her dad & mom made the trip with her…
…and life and suitcases and new houses and snakes and bugs and weird creatures and visitors and everything in between…
…SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES…
This is why you have photos…I LOVE remembering the newness, the fear, the love, the excitement, the thrill of sharing our new life…each photo brings me a smile in a different way and reminds me of how much love we have in our life…
