12 Days

My blog tells me I haven’t posted in 12 days…so I feel compelled to share SOMETHING…nothing big is going on (that I can actually write about) and life is pretty quiet…we’ve been finding that Bassac Gardens has quite a bit more to offer than it did 2 years ago…a nice new playground, afternoon Chinese Lessons, dirt piles for 3 boys to run their trucks, a new grocery store for ice cream runs…and we use all this EVERY week!  YAY!

I have 3 dirty smelly little boys who like to run around barefoot, playing guitars, dinosaurs, super heros and music…

OMG…I NEVER thought I’d be the mom who let her kids ride without a car seat…well, when in Rome…right?!  This was a special treat to sit in the front with daddy, while he played air guitar, the babies played drums and we drove around the neighborhood…

…and these 2 stinkies think they are BIG BOYS…and are trying to give up naps…and happen to crash anywhere around 2:30 pm…and then it’s late nights in the new room where all three boys are sleeping (RRRRIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTT)…

…and here are the lights of my life…CLEARLY depicting their personalities…Zachary has become such a sweet big brother (most of the time…he sure knows how to wind up that arm if necessary!!!)…Trevor is classically ornery…sweet and spicy all at once…and has NO qualms about fighting big brother back!  Brando is happy-go-lucky until that ONE time…then we ALL better watch out!

I love you boys…and I love our time together…I hope you always remember the fun we make, because it is what makes my life.

Just Hong Kong…

Can I just say I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hong Kong…I SO want that to be our next “home”…the weather was crisp and cool, there are parks, walks, GAIN laundry detergent in the grocery stores, Starbucks (and LOTS of them), lots of food, culture, trains, boats…it truly has it all…When Jimmy & I went in 2011, we did not get to explore like you get to with 3 kids and 8 days!!!  So, let me tell you…I am in love and ready to make that place home for a couple of years!

First off…the airplane ride was perfect…the boys were great and NONE of us got scared (aka, Trevor & Mama!!)…

The boys loved their “Old McDonalds”…and eating “luggage”…and being big boys riding the MTR!!

We hit up Ocean Park, rode some rides, trains, saw sites, enjoyed penguins and just had fun…

…and piling up the undies and pants on the shoes, because I HATE having them on the floor…but they boys won’t go unless it’s all off…thank GOD we outgrow that one!

We enjoyed Victoria Park and the Botonical Gardens, chased bubbles, climbed monkey bars

Trevor is my drama king…and was having a fit…and big brother was the ONLY one who could talk to him and convince him to walk back up the path and join the group…makes a mama smile!!!

Walked the “boardwalk” for hours, took a boat to Kowloon, had dinner, shopped, played and enjoyed each other!!!

I didn’t notice the boys in this photo until I uploaded them onto my computer…BWAH HA HA HA HA…their faces are priceless!!  Alright mom…ENOUGH (and it was the first pic!)!

…and DANCED…DANCED…DANCED…these boys LOVE their music…the shook it, shaked it, gangham’d it…they were little dancing bears EVERYWHERE we went!!

Don’t just stand there…bust a move!

Trevor just feel asleep in the cab and didn’t wake up until the next day…I love those days of exploring and enjoying and having fun…and wiping out!!

It was THE perfect trip with our perfect friends…we loved everything about it…Disney, Mickey, Buzz, McDonald’s, parks, laughs, taxi’s, trains, boats, food poisoning (ok…maybe not that part, but the food WAS really good going down), friendship, Starbucks, 10 km walk(s)…we love you, we love our time with you and we had a BLAST!!!
